Qualification Details:

  • Faculty Post (Group A On Direct Recruitment Basis In Various Departments At Rajendra Institute Of Medical Sciences (Rims) Ranchi. Jharkhand. The Director, RIMS Ranchi invites applications in prescribed proforma from Indian Citizens for the following faculty post on regular basis.

  • Regular: All posts are single and according to letter no. 4423 dated 05-08-2002; these issued by the department of personnel, Administrative reform and Rajbhasha, Govt. of Jharkhand, Accordingly reservation rules do not apply to these posts.
  • Note: The number of vacancies is tentative. The number may vary as per the advice of the Depmtment of Personnel, Administrative reforms, and Rajbhasa, Govt. of Jharkhand.
  • The essential qualifications and experience will be determined/counted as on the closing date of application i.e. on 27/03/2021, till 5 pm.
  • Essential qualification:
  • A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualification included part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act. 2
    A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline /subject.
  • Experience: Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  • Essential for super specialty disciplines:
  • Same as essential criteria I and 2 for Professor(Medical) stated above
    M.Ch. for surgical super-specialties and/or D.M. for Medical Super-specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years or 6 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Experience:    

  • Twelve years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree ofM.Ch./D.M. (2 years after MI)/MS or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.OR
  • Eleven years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch./D.M. (3 years after MD/MS or 6 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  • Essential Qualification and Experience for Non-Medical Candidates:
  • Professor of Biochemistry: Essential qualification:
  • A postgraduate qualification i.e. Master’s degree in Medical Biochemistry/Biochemistry
  • Doctorate degree ofa recognized University
    Experience 14 years teaching and/or research experience in Biochemistry or subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree.
  • Professor of Microbiology: Essential qualification:
  • A postgraduate qualification i.e Master’s Degree in Medical Microbiology/Clinical Microbiology.
  • Doctorate degree from a recognized University
    Experience 14 years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtainin the Ph.D. Degree
  • Professor of Lab Medicine: Essential qualification: l. Postgraduate qualification i.e. Master’s Degree in Pathology or Microbiology or Biochemistry/Chemistry 2. Doctorate degree ofa recognized University
    Experience 14 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject concerned after obtainin the Doctorate Degree
  • Pay Scale (As per 7th Pay): Professor: Level 14 A

Age:

  • Age per AIIMS, New Delhi Norms.

  • The period of probation is two years for all posts from the date of their joining.

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
