Educational Qualification
The candidate is eligible to apply for the post if he/she has possessed a Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualifications
Age limit (as on 01/01/2020)
The candidate should not be more than 36 years on the date of start of the registration process.
Application Fees
The application fee for applying for WBPSC AE Recruitment 2021 is Rs. 210
Candidates may in addition have to bear the following charges
- For online payment through debit/credit cards: Convenience fee @ 1% of the examination fee subject to a minimum of Rs. 5/- only plus 18% G.S.T. on such convenience fee
- For online payment using the net banking facility: Convenience fee of Rs. 5/- only plus 18% G.S.T. on such convenience fee
- For offline payment through Bank Counter: Service Charge of Rs. 20/- only

WBPSC AE Recruitment 2021: Selection Process
The selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in two stages:
- Written Test- 200 marks
- Interview- 100 marks
WBPSC AE Recruitment 2021: Qualifying marks
Commission has fixed qualifying marks in aggregate of marks obtained in Written Test and Interview in the following manner

The salary package offered for Assistant Engineer post is Rs.15, 600/- – Rs.42, 000/- (P.B. – 4A) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5, 400/- (unrevised)
