Qualification Details:

Applications ate invited in the prescribed Performa filling up of 20 position(s) of Interns on a purely temporary basis at Uttarakhand Biodiversity Board. Dehradun initially Cor six months (which can be extended if required) for the preparation of Peoples Biodiversity Registers (PBR).

1. Name of the Post: Interns

3. Qualification and terms and conditions for interns:

a) Botany/Plant Science/Forestry/ Ecology/ Ethnobotany – M.Sc. in the relevant subjects with minimum marks 55% in aggregate from recognized university.

b) Zoology/Wildlife – M.Sc. in the relevant subjects with minimum marks 55% in aggregate from recognized university.

c) Horticulture/Floriculture – M.Sc. in the relevant subjects with minimum marks 55% in aggregate from recognized university.

d) Agriculture/Agroscience – M.Sc. in the relevant subjects with minimum marks 55% in aggregate from recognized university.

e) Weed Sciences – M.Sc. in the relevant subjects or M.Sc. in Botany with minimum marks 55% in aggregate with specialization in Weed Sciences or other related subjects from recognized university.

f) Entomology – M.Sc. in the relevant subjects or M.Sc. in zoology with minimum marks 55% in aggregate with specialization in Entomology or other related subjects from recognized university.

g) Microbiology/Aquatic Botany/Aquatic Biology – M.Sc. in the relevant subjects with minimum marks 55% in aggregate from recognized university

4. Desirable Qualification: Working knowledge of computers, good communication and writing skills.

Other Terms and Conditions

1. The engagement will be on a contract basis only.

2. Preference will be given to those candidates, who have experience in particular subject/field.

3. The engagement shall be subject to satisfactory performance of duties. The Board reserves the right to curtail the period of engagement or cancel the engagement on 15 days’ notice.

4. Working knowledge of computers, good communication and writing skillsand good command in computer applications (MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Power Point etc.) is desirable.

5. No TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the assignment/Interview.

6. Date of web interview will be intimated by Board.

7. Original documents (as per enclosed with application form) will be produced by candidate at the time of joining.

8. Candidate will not be eligible for any remuneration other than specified.
