Qualification Details:

  • This is issued in revision of Advertisement No. 01/2020 vide No. F.IO (28)/DESMP/ESTT/2020/4295 dated 27th November 2020, corrigendum and addendum related to the recruitment of 1500 Lower Division Clerk (Group-C) posts by Joint Recruitment Board, Tripura (JRBT)
  • Those candidates who have already applied for 1500 Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Group-C, Non- Gazetted post(s), need not apply once again to the added 910 other Group-C posts and their candidature for all 2410 Group-C posts will be considered based on their educational qualification etc.

  • Reservation Status: Reservation of posts is as per the reservation roster maintained by the concerned departments and as per the State Government reservation policy. It will be notified later
  • Pre-revised Scale of Pay: PB-2, Pay Band Scale Rs.5700- 24000 / – Grade- Pay-Rs.2100/-

  • Details of essential qualification:
  • Common for Junior Operator(Pump) and Junior Multi Tasking Operator(Un-common) i.e.
  • Madhyamik or equivalent examination passed from any recognized Board/ Institution. And
  • National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by National Council for Vocational Training(NCVT) in any of the following trade
  • Welder (Gas & Electric),
  • Plumber,
  • Turner,
  • Fitter,
  • Mechanic Diesel,
  • Pump O rator cum Mechanic, vii Wireman,
  • Electrician
  • Desirable qualification for all the above Group-C posts: Having knowledge of Bengali/ Kokborok

Age:

  • Age limit for direct recruitment is 18 to 41 years; Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of ST/SC/PwDs (PH)/ Government servant candidates.
Application Fee:
  • Rs. 300/- for UR category and Rs. 200/- for reserved category (SC/ST). PwD are exempted from fee payment.

General Instructions:

  • Those candidates who have already applied for the post of Lower Division Clerk (Group-C) against the Advertisement No. 01/2020 dated 27th November 2020 need not apply and their candidature for all 2410 Group-C Lower Division Clerk, Agriculture Assistant (Except TAFS Grade-III), Agriculture Assistant (TAFS Grade-III), Junior Multi Tasking Operator and Junior Operator (Pump)} will be considered based on their educational qualification etc.
  • Candidate’s preference of post among all the aforementioned Group-C Posts will be taken during the Interview and allotment of Group-C post to candidate will be based on the final merit list, preference & other qualifications.
  • Since, pre-test verification Of document is not done. candidate is required to apply online in her/his own capacity on being satisfied with the terms and conditions of eligibility for Lower Division Clerk. Agri. Assistant. Junior Operator(Pump) and Junior Multi Iktsking Operator(Un-cornmon), Group-‘C’. (category Non-Technical) post. 2020.
  • However. if it is later found that any of the conditions for the eligibility is not fulfilled. the candidature will cancelled at any stage and no appeal against such cancellation will entenained.
  • Once submitted. any request to edit or correct the application shall not be entertained. Hence. candidates need to fill-up the form carefully and submit the application. Mere issue Of Acknowledgement Page/Admit Card to the candidate will not imply that her/his Candidature has finally cleared by the Board.
  • Admit card will not be distributed to the eligible candidates through post. Candidates may download E- Admit Card from the JRBT website.
  • Primary merit list will be prepared by adding marks obtained in all papers Of the written examination to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview. Candidates equivalent to 3 (three) times the number of vacancies( 1:3) shall be called for interview(category-wise) subject to attainment Of minimum qualifying marks in the written examination (35% for UR candidates & 30% for reserved candidates).
  • Note: Candidate(s) scoring marks equal to that of the last candidate in the written examination so selected for the interview will also be called for interview. Final merit list will be prepared by adding marks obtained in all papers of the written examination and interview.
  • In no case, candidates will be called for interview unless they appear in all papers of the written examination. If a candidate remains absent in the interview, his/her candidature will not be Considered for final selection. After final selection, all selected candidates for the post of Lower Division Clerk (Group-C) will be called for type test on computer.
  • The type test shall be qualifying in nature and it carries no marks. Candidature of the candidate will summarily be rejected if she/he remains absent during Certificate verification without further notification and if she/he produces wrong antecedents, during any stage Of the whole recruitment process.
  • The merit lists/results published on official webpage of Board are purely provisional and for immediate information to the candidates. These cannot be treated as final result, since finalization depends on verification Of certificates and other eligibility conditions.
  • In-service candidates shall have to produce No-Objection Certificate from the concerned employer at the time of certificate verification or else her/his candidature will be cancelled.
  • Candidates are instructed to bring the Admit Card, black ball point pen and one photo bearing identity card from among the following for appearing in the test: (i) Voter ID (ii) AADHAR Card (iii) Passport (iv)Driving License (v) PAN Card. Carrying bags, books, mobile phone, tab or any other communication devices etc. inside the test venue is strictly prohibited. Changes to this notification (if any), shall be notified separately by JRBT and Will also be uploaded in the official webpage of the Board.
  • SC/ST Candidates of other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for General candidates.
  • Based on the reservation policy of the State, the number of posts notified for recruitment may increase or decrease

  • In case of multiple applications, the application with the latest Registration Number shall only be entertained by the Board and fee paid against one Registration Number shall not be adjusted against any other Registration Number or retunded.
