Ph.D in Rubber Technology / Polymer Technology /Chemistry (Rubber/polymers) /Polymer Science /Material Science (Rubber/ Polymers) from institutes of repute. Minimum 60% marks or minimum cumulative CGPA of 7.0 out of 10 OR 3.5 out of 5.0 at Master degree (M.Tech/ M.Sc) and / or M.Phil level exam. OR Minimum 60% marks or minimum cumulative CGPA of 7.0 out of 10 OR 3.5 out of 5.0 at integrated PhD level. For reserved category relaxation in marks will be applicable as per DOPT guidelines issued from time to time.
Level 11 as per 7th CPC (Rs. 67700-208700) Grd. Pay Rs 6600, Group A
Not more than 45 years
Math & Physics must be a subject at Bachelor / Master level
Minimum 5 years working experience in Research and development in the field of Rubber/Polymer science and technology (Excluding the duration of PhD). Minimum of two research papers as first Author to be published in Peer reviewed journals. He must have hands on experience in analytical chemistry. Experience in Compound Development, Product Development, Project planning and Execution, Failure Mode Effect Analysis of rubber Products, Testing and characterization of rubber/ polymer, Test method / SOP development. Exemplary Computer skills including Presentation skills, Report writing skills. He / she should be able to promote and facilitate leading edge research including collaborative and inter-disciplinary research in rubber and allied technologies and acquiring research funded projects from financial institutes. He should be able to develop network between IRMRA and Researchers in the field of public/private sector, locally/nationally/internationally. Experience in ISO 17025:2005 (NABL accreditation) also for accreditation as per ISO / IEC 17020:2013 are desirable
