Qualification
M.Sc./M.Tech in Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/Climate Science/ Environmental Science/ Geophysics/ Oceanography/Hydrometeorology/ Water Resources/Computer and Civil Engineering/Physics or any disciplines related to Environmental Science from a recognized University/Institution with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Pay Scale
Rs 31000 + 16% HRA per month.
Desirable Qualifications
Prior research experience in regional or global modelling of the climate or Earth system, preferably experience with limited-area climate models and their coupling with other earth system model components is desired. Familiarity with the analysis of data sets from climate models. Knowledge in appropriate programming languages such as FORTRAN, Python and R; shell scripting.
