3. Qualification:

a. Should have passed Graduation with 45% marks in the case of General Category candidates and 40% marks in the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Backward Classes and Physical Handicapped Candidates from a recognized university or institution and should have passed Hindi as an elective subject for three years of Graduation; and Should have passed B.Ed from a recognized university or institution with Hindi as one of the teaching subjects as per guidelines of University Grants Commission.

b. Should have passed Graduation with minimum 45% percent marks in the case of the persons from the General category; and (ii) with minimum 40% marks in the case of the persons from the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, other Backward Classes, Backward Classes and Physically Handicapped category, from a recognized university or institution and should have studied English as an elective subject for a period of three years; or

c. Should have studied Functional English, English Literature, B.A. Honours (English), B.A. (Honours) English in Graduation; or its equivalent; or Should have passed Post Graduation in English; and Should have passed B.Ed. from a recognized university or institution with English as one of the teaching subjects as per University Grants Commission guidelines.

d. Should have passed Graduation with 45% marks in the case of General Category candidates and 44% marks in the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Backward Classes and Physical Handicapped Candidates from a recognized university or institution and should have passed Mathematics as subject for three years of Graduation; and

e. Should have passed B.Ed from a recognized university or institution with Mathematics as one of the teaching subjects as per guidelines of University Grants Commission.

f. Science (Non-Medical) Should have passed B.Sc. with 45% marks in the case of General Category candidates and 40% marks in the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Backward Classes and Physical Handicapped Candidates from a recognized university or institution with any of the two subjects i.e.

g. Physics Chemistry and Mathematics or should have passed B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics or any other equivalent qualification, but certificate of equivalency should be given by the concerned University as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission; and Should have passed B.Ed from a recognized university or institution with Science as one of the teaching subject as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission.

h. Science (Medical):

i. Should have passed B.Sc. with 45% marks in the case of General Category candidates and 40% marks in the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Backward Classes and Physical Handicapped Candidates from a recognized university or institution with any of the two subjects i.e. Biology, Physics and Chemistry or B.Sc. Honours) in either of these subjects or B.Sc (life science) or B.Sc (Physical Science) or

ii. B.Sc (Bio-technology) or B.Sc (Honours) or B.Sc (Industrial Microbiology) or B.Sc (Micro-biology) or B.Sc (Bio-physics) or B.Sc (Bio-chemistry) or B.Sc (Mircobial, Food Technology, Chemistry) or B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry or B.Sc. Food Science and Quality Control or B.Sc. Microbial food Technology any other equivalent qualification, but certificate of equivalency should be given by the concerned University as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission; and

iii. Should have passed B.Ed from a recognized university or institution with Science as one of the teaching subject as per guidetines of the University Grants Commission.
