Qualification Details:

  • Applications are invited for filling up the following posts on deputation basis in the Brahmaputra Board, Guwahati-29 a Statutory Body established under Brahmaputra Board Act (46 of 1980) from candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as indicated against the posts:-
  • Name of the Post: Assistant (Ministerial Cadre)
  • No of Post: 5 (five) posts on deputation basis.
  • Salary: scale of pay : Levei.6 (Rs. 35,400 –
  • Qualification: Eligibility criteria- officers under the Central Govemment or State Governments or Union Territory Administrations or State Electricity Board or Autonomous Body or Statutory Body or Public Sector Undertakings: (a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in parent cadre or depanment; or (ii) with ten years regular service in the grade of Upper Division Clerk I Level-4 (Rs.25,500 – 81,100) in Pay Matrix; and possessing 3 years’ experience of working in the various establishment jobs and knowledge of Central Govemment rules and regulations.
  • While forwarding the applications the lending/Administrative Authorities may forward CR dossiers for last 5 years of the officers concerned and certify that the information furnished by the applicants are correct and no vigilance/disciplinary case is pending or contemplated against the officers in the prescribed format. If the officer nominated for the post is selected, the lending department will have to release the officer within one month from the date of issue of the appointment order The eligibility criteria of the candidate will be on the date of issue of this Notification.

 

  • Name of the Post: Section Officer (Secretariat) (Ministerial Cadre)
  • No of Post: 1 (one) posts on deputation basis.
  • Salary: Level-7 (Rs. 44900-142400)
  • Qualification: Eligibility criteria- officers under the Central Govemment or State Govemments or Union Territory Administrations or State Electricity Board or Autonomous Body or Statutory Body or Public Sector Undertakings: (a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in parent cadre or department; or (ii) with five years regular service in the grade of Assistant or Superintendent in Level-6 (Rs.35,400 – 1,12,400) in Pay Matrix; and possessing 3 years’ experience of working in the various establishment jobs and knowledge of Central Government rules and regulations.
  • While forwarding the applications the lending/Administrative Authorities may forward CR dossiers for last 5 years of the officers concerned and certify that the information furnished by the applicants are correct and no vigilance/disciplinary case is pending or contemplated against the officers in the prescribed format.   • Name of the Post: Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) (Non•Ministerial Cadre),
  • No of Post: 09 (nine) posts.
  • Salary: Level-10 (Rs. 56100-177500).
  • Qualification: Eligibility criteria-Officers of the Central Govemment or State Govemment or Union Territory Administration or State Electricity Boards or Public Sector Undertakings or Statutory Organisations or Autonomous bodies or Universities or recognised Research Institutions: (a) (i) holding analogous post in parent cadre or depanment on regular basis; or with three years’ regular service in the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical)) in level-7 (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400/-) in pay matrix in parent cadre or department; and (b) Desirable- two years’ experience in Water Resources Project

  • Name of the Post: Deputy Financial Adviser (Non-Ministerial Finance and Accounts Cadre),
  • No of Post: 01 (one) posts,
  • Salary: level-12 (Rs. 78,800-

  • Qualification: Eligibility criteria-Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Administrations or State Electricity Boards or Public Sector Undertakings or Statutory Organisations or Autonomous bodies or Universities or recognised Research Institutions: (a) (i) holding analogous post in parent cadre or department on regular basis; or (ii) with five years’ regular service in the grade of Senior Accounts Officer in level-II (Rs.67 ,700 – 2,08,700/-) in pay matrix in the parent cadre or department; or (iii) with ten years’ regular service in the grade of Accounts Officer in level-10 (Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500/-) in pay matrix in the parent cadre or department; and (b) having three years’ experience in dealing with financial matters, Central Government financial rules and regulations preferably having experience in compilation of annual accounts, internal audit and knowledge in Central Public Works Department system of accounts

  • No of Post: 01 (One) post
  • Salary: Level-12 (Rs. 78800- 209200).
  • Place of Posting: Guwahati
  • Qualification: Eligibility criteria-Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Administration or State Electricity Boards or Public Sector Undertakings or Statutory Organisations or Autonomous bodies or Universities or recognised Research Institutions: (a) (i) holding analogous post in parent cadre or department on regular basis; or (ii) holding the post of Under Secretary in level-II (Rs. 67,700 — in pay matrix in parent cadre or department including Indian Administrative Service or Central Secretariat Service with five years’ regular service in the grade; and (b) three years’ experience in handling administration matter involving Central Government rules, regulations and their applicability.

Applications received late in response to earlier advertisement dated 15th June, 2020 will be considered as valid application.
