Age Limit:

40 years as on 1st July 2021.
Age Relaxation – 05 years for SC, ST BC Muslims, BC, MBC and De-notified Communities anddestitute widows of all castes.

Pay Scale: Basic Pay – ₹ 29,800/- (with higher initial) at entry point in Pay Matrix Level-9 of WBS(ROPA) Rules, 2019. Other allowances are admissible as per existing Government Rules.

GNM: Female – 3577, Male – 397 posts
Basic B.Sc Nursing (Only for Female): 2032 posts
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing(Only for Female): 308 posts

Educational Qualifications:

Post Graduate in relevant subjects with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.

Other Qualifications:

No person shall be eligible for appointment to the posts unless he / she possesses the qualification as prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education by Regulations from time to time.
The persons must have obtained a Post Graduate Degree, after completion of S.S.L.C., Higher Secondary Course or its equivalent and a degree (10+2+3+2) from any University or Institution,recognized by the University Grants Commission.
The Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees must have been obtained from an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission and the courses must have been duly permitted by the competent authority authorised on this behalf.
Adequate knowledge of the official language of the State, namely, Tamil.

Selection Process:

Computer Based Examination.
Certificate Verification.

Application Fee:

₹ 500/- for General and OBC category candidates.
₹ 250/- for SC/ SCA/ ST and differently abled candidates.
The exam fee payable only through online net banking /credit card / debit card.
