Master’s degree in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Life Science / Protein Chemistry with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university. Candidate should have cleared GATE, CSIR DBT or ICMR JRF, M.Tech. or any other competitive exam that makes him eligible for the JRF position as defined in Office Memorandum of DST.

Candidates with NET/GATE will qualify as JRFs with salary of Rs. 31,000 + HRA.

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in an ICMR sponsored project entitled, “Structure-Based Design Of Nanobody Inhibitors Against EGFR: A Protein Engineering Approach To Develop Novel Therapeutics For Lung Cancer”. Project will be conducted under the guidance of Prof. Deepak Sehgal, Head, Department of Life Sciences, Shiv Nadar University, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh-203207 and his collaborator Dr. Krishna at AIIMS. The project requires candidate with knowledge in Enzymology, Viruses and/or structural Biochemistry. It provides a learning on basic techniques of Molecular Biology, Cell culture and Protein Biochemistry. The candidate will be encouraged to perform independent research and publish.
